记叙文是用来陈述事件的文体，在日常生活中是非常富有表现力的。同学在写记叙文时，要注意：第一，语法无纰漏。特别要注意时态是否一致，主谓是否一致。第二，避免流水账式的呆板陈述，注入感情色彩。

     I have been hearing-impaired since I was born. Now I have made myself better than the average teenager. I won the all-star award on my basketball team. It is my baseball coach who always guides and encourages me.

     I was once a timid boy on the side of the court observing people playing baseball. For about a month, I went there every day. I felt passion when I saw others playing. I really want to be part of the team. But I dare not because of my hearing disability. One day, the coach of the team came to me. Seeing me with thick plastic hearing aids in my ears, he put his hand on my shoulder and made an OK sign. I was his student on the baseball team since then. He told me because I wear hearing aids; I have to prove that I am not physically or mentally limited. I have to run faster, catch better and score more points to prove I am not physically challenged. In my struggle to prove I am equal to my non-disabled peers, his words are always around my ears. He considers me no difference from anyone else.

     He helped me to prove I can do anything I want. I truly believe I would not be the strong and ambitious person today if I didn’t have my beloved coach.
